Erik's is commited to going green and doing our part to preserve the environment. In response to our customers Erik's took the initiative in 1990 and become one of the first Northern California food establishments to ban smoking. Since then, Erik's has remained committed to doing what we can to help. Our efforts include using recyclable gift cards, making Erik's "green certified" and using biodegradable and compostable "Erik's on the Go" products.
Erik’s recycled gift cards are produced from recycled PVC and contain 100% pre- and post- consumer PVC waste. These cards are also recyclable in and of themselves, so Erik’s contributes nothing to the PVC waste stream.
"Erik's On the Go" is "fast fresh, delicious, biodegradable & compostable!" "Erik's on the Go" salad containers, catering, paper plates, toothpicks, and tarterware knives, forks and spoons are biodegradable and compostable. Anytime you use an "Erik's napkin" you are using 100% recycled paper.
